If God is Omniscient, then God watches when you make love right?

Question

Omniscient means "all knowing", which means God knows exactly what you look like from all angles for every moment of your life. So God is infinitely worse than a lone peeping tom, since God sees you from every possible angle when you make love.

If you see something wrong with my logic, then please explain what is wrong. "Nuh-uh" is not going to cut it. Arguing that God is not omniscient is not going to cut it. I am assuming God is omniscient here.

**Eleventy** - My point is meaningful because many theists refuse to accept what omniscient means. Why? Because they probably feel weird about God watching them have sex. Why that is I am not sure.

God doesn't get confused, and he doesn't need to look more closely at one thing over another, BECAUSE GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING. And by definition since God knows everything, God *SEES* everything, since seeing is only a small part of knowing (knowing what everything looks like at all times, of course God also knows what people think, feel, the gravitational pull of jupiter, the number of sand grains on a beach, etc; )

GOD WATCHES EVERY "CHANNEL" AT ALL TIMES. That is what omniscient means! That is what "all knowing" means.

He could be watching Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie... what the heck would God want to watch ME and my sweetie for? Even so, do you think GOD might have seen this before? Do you think GOD has a subscription to "Hustler"? Do you think GOD has a prescription to Viagra? If there is an omniscient God, watching us have sex is probably not as important as running the rest of the entire universe.

Yes, God is omniscient. He knows every thought in our head and sees everything. This does not make Him some sort of pervert though. I think you are being one.
God made sex to be shared between married couples as a holy thing. He sees it as beautiful. He doesn't gawk like a peeping tom. Are you worried about something?

What makes you think that He watches? Being omniscient makes Him aware of everything, but that doesn't mean that He focuses His attention on the particulars of everything.

Besides, as your mother probably said to you whenever she caught you naked "I've already seen it all before, it's no big deal".

Additional: You're the pathetic one. Who said God gets confused? You know things, right? (Sure hope so) So, is every bit of every little thing that you know always on your mind, always at the forefront of your thoughts? If it isn't, then do you lose that knowledge when it isn't?

God knowing everything doesn't mean He elaborates intensely upon every detail of that knowledge at every moment of His existence, or that He places the same significance upon any of it that you do.

So He sees us having sex, big deal. Do you think it actually touches Him the same way that it touches us? That He's getting off on it or something, because you are basically calling Him a pervert in your first paragraph. And that we should feel ashamed at being "watched".

Stop trying to compare the way God might view us to the way you do. Since when is yours the mind of God?

Oh, and why are you concentrating on the sex part? Your reasoning doesn't apply because not everyone has sex, nor do they engage in it as often as other actions, say sitting on the crapper, for example. So why not say that God sees you as you're sitting there trying to pinch out a big one?

Yes, sex was invented by God, and He made it enjoyable so we would fill up the earth.

But when people have sex thorough orifices that God did not design, or perform abominable practices that even the animals don´t duplicate, then such perverts must answer to Him who can never be bribed or intimidated.

We must all answer for what we have done during this brief probation period. Yes, of course "god" watches you (and everybody else) make love. I am sure "he" has seen it all. It is not that "he" is a peeping tom. He is just "watching his children." He can do this easily, and you are never aware that he is watching the moves that you make on your wife. "He" remembers if you do anything forbidden, and it is "recorded" and will be referred to when you die. "He" has been doing it so long, I do not think "he" is embarrassed. "He" created humans that are imperfect in many ways, so "he" is not surprised to see many things that "he" does not approve of. I do not think "he' is very happy about what homosexuals do, but so far I have never heard of "him" interrupting, or stopping a sexual act. "He" is content just to watch.

Since God created us, of course He knows and sees when we have sex. However, is He pleased with who we are having sex with?, should be the question- sex with your hubby/wife is pleasing to the Lord- sex outside of marriage- not= so if you are married, God is seeing you act within His will. There is no problem there!!

God makes the rules... he can do what he wants... and there is nothing you can do about it... your ideas of what God can or can not do mean nothing... Personaly I believe God can do as you suggest... but I do not think he bothers most of the time... I am sure he has other things bettere to do... It is more likely that there is one of His angels checking on us most of the time.... and of course the forces of evil are always around... and I am sure they look a lot more

Yes he can see you all the time 24-7 but I am sure he doesn't "Watch" I would love to argue why I think this... But I have to go back to work. I just don't think he is that way. When you die, long time from now, Ask him.
