-I have a tv (with just the yellow and white outlets)
-dvd player with red yellow and white outlets
-an rf modulator with red yellow and white outlets and two cable outlets
-a cable cord.
-cable splitter... don't know if i need this... but I have one...
I just moved and when I unplugged everything i didn't look at how it was set up and now I can't seem to get it to work.. I must not be connecting everything right... What do I need to do?
Do I need two cable cords? one from the wall to the rf modulator and then from the rf modulator to the tv?

I'm so confused.

Thanks!

It sounds like your TV is mono and not stereo since you only have yellow for video and white for audio. Since all DVD players are stereo, you need to hook the DVD player to the rf modulator in order to hear both channels on your TV. So this is how you should hook things up assuming that you also have cable tv.

Cable tv cable to cable input of RF modulator. DVD yellow red and white to RF modulator. Output cable of RF modulator to cable input of TV.

Hope this helps you.
