It could be chest-wall pain, which comes from lifting something heavy and straining your chest muscles, or if you have had a cough or bronchitis lately, you can strain your chest muscles by coughing vigorously. If it's just chest-wall pain, it will go away within three or four days. If it lasts longer than that, go see the doc.

Are you referring to a small area inbetween the breasts only? Or elsewhere all over the ribs? Where the rib cage meets at the base of the sternum (inbetween breasts) there is a small area called the xyphoid process and that can feel extremely sore to the touch if pressed and that is normal. I just pressed mine to test it out........ouch!

It is a muscular injury. An anti-inflammatory tab or cream will do.If the pain does not subside see a good gynecologist.

go and take a trip to your doctor ?now now ! as it could be a multitude of things,and if you leave it ,well it wont go away ,it will only be a minor problem so don't put it off,doctor knows best.
