I'm trying to make muffins and it says I need 1 fourth cup of vegetable oil for the recipe, but I don't have any. Is there a substitute for vegetable oil?
Thank you :)

I always substitute vegetable oil with applesauce. I use the same amount the recipe calls for. It is much healthier for you! Depending on the recipe I will also substitute smashed bananas.

hi.... just melt some butter in the microwave for about 1min. you'll need about 2 -- 1/4 slices of butter , just to get that bounce taste . oh --- also instead of muffin cups try'em with -out , just grease the muffin pan with the same stick of butter inside and around edges of the pan and watch those muffin raise up to perfection's
