I Don't want to hear that wiccans are bad and that i will go to hell. All i want is to know if there are any other wiccans out there that know summer solstice projects for kids. I Was put in charge of that and i can't hink of anything. I know today is the normal solstice but we are doing it on the weekend. Thanks

Here you go, sweetie. From a Pagan parenting page.

And lots of us are doing it on a weekend.

I really don't know a lot about Wiccan. What I do know I have major issues with, but this IS America. Worship as you will. (Actually I don't know if you are in America - but still. Worship as you will. It's a God-given right no matter if your governmaent admits it or not.)

As to the question itself perhaps you could do something with sundials. There's a LOT of info on the net regarding how to make your own sundial and there's a lot of information on different kinds of dials.

They are interesting and simple and can give people (even little people) a basic idea of the science behind the solstice. This really isn't a bad project no matter what your religious background.

Thats great: screw the children up even more. Why not take them to the gay parade for a hotdog, too. Good job.
