and were you able to take it off if/when you stopped taking it?

No and yes . . . this may seem strange, but I was on 10 mg per day for quite a while, and did not gain weight, pretty much maintained my weight. After a few months my dosage was increased to 20 mg per day and wow, I did gain weight, about 20 lbs. My appetite increased and I sometimes I felt as if I couldn't control myself.

I've been off Lexapro for about two months and am working on getting the weight off.

I put on about 15 pounds on Lexapro in eight months and walked it off. It was just a matter of finding the energy and interest to get out there and do something. I expect that when I stop taking it, I will weigh the same since I am menopausal so I can't really advise you there.

Yes I did gain weight, But I was able to get it back off then some with a new diet and lots of exercise.

Yes, then my doctor added Wellbutrin to my meds. I was 310 and now down to 225. Now I just take the Wellbutrin.
