Yes it is illegal if he does not have a script. Even if he does there are a lot of regulations to follow to make it legal. And furthermore most of those sites you see with discount prices are very shady and I would not trust them, they get their supply from outside the country and often get a batch that has no potency, but that won't stop them from selling it to you.

any RX drug need to be purchased with a script. I would not recommend that you buy any drugs over the web, You have NO idea what you are really getting. Tell your friend to stop, hes gonna get busted and when he does tell him you told him so!!!

If you have a script for it yes you can purchase it online, but if you don't you have to watch because they make sites for people to buy this stuff off of, and trace it, and pop them. For a drug that your suppose to have a script for you can't purchase them online without one. Its a good chance you will get nailed for doing it.

you need a prescription for vicodin!! think about it, could you just waltz up to cvs pharmacy and say "i would like 1 bottle of vicodin please." NO! you are not supposed to have drugs like that unless prescribed by your doctor. yes it is illegal. same way it is illegal for dealers on the street.

if you dont have a script yes it is illegal. vicodin is a controlled substance and a narcotic. you need a script to obtain it legally

I don't think it is. Even if it is legal it's a bad idea, there's much less FDA regulation on internet pharmaceuticals so your friend could be getting poorly made product that could potentially hurt him.
