For those of you who said to take the "why" off, thats not the question.
The question is why was heaven created, or why does it exist.

Heaven exist because without good there can not be evil. What I think, maybe some others will think the same way, since there is obviously a place where the evil goes, there must be a place where the innocent and peaceful must go. It would not be fair that they go to a horrid place where evil manifests itself. Rather they are sent to a place where they can be with the other innocent people and good actually is manifested instead of creating like we do.

I think heaven was created to answer the question, what comes after death?
Since the second law of thermodynamics prohibits any energy from escaping the universe, i.e being destroyed, no one is going to heaven, now are they!

Because without the eternity of heaven the whole life will be of no meaning and man can't understand why God has created this life

Heaven exists as a reward for walking through the tribulations of this world.A sailor doesn't sail, in knowing that he is heading towards an infinite island deserted with nothing (aka death) there is no point in that.

Heaven is a state ,and not a place,It is a state of absolute bliss that we achieve after long ages of spiritual evolution and incarnations.In the east this state is called nirvana.

i don't think heaven is real but i believe in god. yeah so i guess heaven is some magical place where you go when you die i think it exists because people want it to exist so they pretend like its real.

heaven only exists in your mind. It is only a concept that once you die that you not have to suffer through life anymore.

There should be some place for the good guys... Otherwise what is the benefit of being religious??? To overcome their fear of death people want to believe that they are going to go to some place better....

To house God and His angels. And to be a place of sanctuary for the worthy humans after we leave earth.
