With all the put-down I recieve from the (THERE IS NO GOD FOLKS) on my posts, I come back to this site to read what many christians have to say and post about Biblical Prophecy what has happened in the past and what will happen in the future. Of course many of you know my interest is following current events and how prophecy is intertwined in all of it, as Jesus's return is right on the horizon

So what is the attraction for you here?

If people believe in opposite things (e.g. There is a God and There is not a God) then you get people who think that they know something the other guys don't.

Atheists (like myself) think that all the scientific evidence they have, and the fact that more and more appears to support it everyday, supports their side of the argument.

Christians think that they know the truth behind the universe already and are trying to save people from hell.

They're both really different standpoints and with people wanting to help others 'see the light' - albeit in a sometimes aggressive way - I think people come back here all the time just to reassure themselves they're right.

First of all, I am one of those "there is no god folks". I do not put anyone down for their views yet I am constantly put down for my own.

I keep coming back because I am in complete aw of some of the beliefs that people have on here. It's like reading a great book of fiction. But most importantly I come to try to teach you that atheism isn't so bad. We are moral loving people. I would love to spread the tolerance! Thank you, have a great day!

I don't think Jesus' return is imminent, personally.

I think the "no one knows the hour" words of Jesus are meant to tell us that (a) no, we're not going to be able to predict it (as everyone has tried and failed for the last two thousand years), and (b) we should always act as though it is both imminent and also a long way off; neither comfortable and complacent, nor panicking or neglecting our stewardship of the Earth.

I come here for the mix of interesting questions, and the mix of interesting answers. You have to dig deep to find them sometimes, but there are enough thoughtful folks amidst the intolerance and trolling to make for some interesting dialogue.

The fact that there are some people who have something good to say. I come on here everyday and read some of the most awful things, then there are the intellects. Wow, no matter what belief system they are in it is always a wonderful experience to communicate with people.

I read both like-minded posts and posts from people who I don't agree with. I may not agree with primoa, for example, but I like his posts. Maybe you should consider reading with an open mind and not being so dead set against people or opinions that differ from your own.

Well, you are always entertaining. And I kind of miss the drinking game. Coming back gives me a chance to see my old friends again. I've been away for a while.

I come to share things that maybe not everyone knows and maybe free them of some shackles of illusion.
