Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy God.
It is written in 1Jn5:7... For there are three that bear record in heaven; the Father, the Word & the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1 foot + 1 foot + 1 foot = 1 yard.
Perfectly logically if you're not talking about the same thing on both sides of the equation. Thus, 1 Person (God the Father) + 1 Person (God the Son) + 1 Person (the Holy Spirit) = 1 God.

Yeah I steer clear of those Trinity arguements. I believe in God. I believe Jesus is His son. I believe there is a Divine Holy Spirit that influences people to come to know Jesus Christ and that endwells the minds of believers. I feel if you don't want to call them 3 in one that is fine with me as long as you believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit.

I wonder if jan above me understands the concepts of fractions. She just said her God is just a third of the deity she worships. Does that make any sense?

One (God the Father)
+ One (The WORD of God the Father)
+One (The spirit of God the Father)
All parts of one God; evidently, YOU aren't quite as smart
as you think you are; God would obviously have to write it
in crayon for you.

Yeah. And how about. "The Father is the Son". What kind of nonsense is that? Where does the word "Trinity" appear in the Bible? Where is the teaching found? Talk about being mislead by the Devil.
John 14:28, Jesus said "The Father is greater than I am".

Evidently not, some people do not have big enough minds to realize that we cannot but human limitations of God.
I am a Christian and I believe in one God.

SILLY..... RABBIT...... TRICKS..... ARE.... FOR .... KIDS!
Perhaps .... NOT.... YOU!
For..... IT IS WRITTEN.......!
(Isaiah 44:6) Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
AND.....
(Acts 5:4) Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
AND....
(John 8:55-to-59) Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
(Joh 8:56) Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
(Joh 8:57) Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
(Joh 8:58) Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
(Joh 8:59) Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
AND.....
(Exodus 3:14) And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Perhaps .... NOT.... YOU!
ONE GOD.... AND EACH ONE... CALLED GOD!
Thanks, RR
