I am pretty sure they're gonna be small because beagles are small as it is.

Good Luck with your "soon to be" dog.

When I got my beagle pup I wanted a small dog to go with my 20 lb Chi/Rat Terrier mix. So I picked the runt of the litter. He is pure bred and I received the papers. Then good old mother nature pulled a trick on me. He grew up to be over 20" and weights close to 40 lbs, he is not fat just had a mutant gene. One of the greatest dogs I have ever had. I have three now. The other one is a 55 lb APBT. All the dogs love everyone and get along great together.
Good luck with your new family member.

All puppies are small silly! All puppies also GROW. Generally beagles a sort of a mid-sized dog. Definitely not a purse pooch but not German Sheppard sizes either.
Probably just a little under knee high.

That is a dog that will always make you smile. They're just so cute and funny looking with those floppy ears.

Have fun!

There are actually 2 sizes of pure bred beagle. A large and a small size... but either one of them at 8 weeks, should be pretty small. Good luck with it. I just love beagles. I have had 3 in my lifetime, but where I live, people are really bad to steal them. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I have a 500 acre farm, you would think I could let them safely out of the house to play.... dog napped. They are sometimes bad to chew... keep that in mind.

Well, since it's a puppy of course it's going to be small, but I'm pretty sure beagles grow to be around 20-30 pounds.

There are two varieties of beagles, divided by size: those measuring under 13" at the withers and those measuring over 13" but under 15" at the withers. Both varieties are small at 8 weeks old, but it will be interesting to see which size it grows to be!

It is going to be rather small, but not itty bitty. If you do not know what size to expect, why are you getting the dog? You should do some research and be fully prepared before you bring home a life long family member. Do you have the right chew toys so the puppy doesn’t chew on your shoes and furniture, how about puppy pads or a crate? Do you have a vet all set up so you can have her looked at right away, and ready in case there is an emergency? Do you have her license ready, a collar, ID and a leash? Do you have a plan to have her spayed as soon as she is old enough?

an 8 week old beagle should be under 10 lbs. but will grow to it's full size of 20 - 30 lbs (depending on type, gender and breeding) by the time it is 7 months old. Best of luck with your new baby!

It depends, because there are two sizes of beagles. But generally they are small. They are sooooo much fun if you have the time to train them. The are smart, energetic and eager to please. don't get frustrated though, cause they are a stubborn breed. I think is cause they are so smart. enjoy, I know I enjoy mine.
