On my 6th B-day, my grandpa bought me a Daisy lever action. I'm now 31, and I still own it. When my daughter turned 6, I took mine out of the closet, and it is still as accurate as the day I got it! She learned to shoot with my first gun, and now she has one identical to it. I just wish my grandpa was alive today to see his great-granddaughter shoot the same gun he bought me as a child!

i know its not an option but look up gamo on the internet, they have some awesome co2 powered pellet rifles. they rank them higher that a 22 round in velocity. there is a video on their web site of a guy dropping a 150lb wild boar with one shot with his gun, impressive.
