My daughter is 14 months old. I conceived her while I was legally separated from my husband. Yeah, that happens..

The guy I used to date has disappeared. I have no clue where he could be etc. He left the country and went to Asia when I was 5 months pregnant. We were in a relationship for almost one year. The last thing he said was that he never wants to see me again or even meet the child. I now think he has some mental cause all of a sudden he treated me like the worst crap. He left no address.

I'm back together with my hubby and we cancelled the divorce before it was final!

The bc is blank so far, stating that I "refuse information on husband".

Can I just put him there?
What are our options?
Do I HAVE to try to contact that guy?
We don't need nor want child support.

Florida.

Hubby LOVES my daughter. He keeps asking me every day what we can do about this.

Which state do you live in?

If your husband is willing to be the "father" you should put his name on the bc - that way there is no contest if the other guy returns.
Personally I wouldn't tell the child ever either unless they are a different color it won't make a difference.

you can put anyone down! Knowing he is was your husband when you conceived in most states it puts him as parental rights!

Just say you were thinking of divorcing and were worried about him taking your baby!

My mom was separted at the time I was concieved but if my father hadnt proven I was his she would have had to put the husband down!
