Today we got a brand new expensive TV and after mum went to bed I was doing my nails i spilt remover everywhere and it went into the remote. It has stopped working! Ive tried changing batterys still not working! help?

hopefully it'll still work when it dries, but there's a chance it could've gotten fried (like when i accidentally spilled soda on my computer keyboard. Don't worry,you're not the only one). If so, you may need to confess and offer to pay for a new one, but universal remotes don't cost too much, i wouldn't think.

take the remote apart and dry the inside then put it back togather then let it dry 4 24 hours if it still doesnt work check if everything is plugged into the tv

get a new remote. Changing batteries that are not depleted is not going to help much is it.

call the tv place like if u have direct TV or adams cable or what ever call and ask for a new one hopefully the TB didnt break

hmmm, maybe you can buy a universal remote or check to see how much it costs to order a new one. go ahead, fess up to your mom and be careful where you use that stuff
