How to use " Trend" in MS Excel to find new X axis values from a standard curve?

1. Chart the data
2. Right-click on the data-line in the chart
3. Select "Add Trendline"
4. Choose the appropriate curve Type (linear, poly, power, etc)
5. In the Options tab, check the box to display the equation.
6. Use that equation to append your data list as a formula in the new cells where you will extrapolate new data.
