Some christians were upset, others weren't bothered, but that's about it.

A lot of muslims go in for rioting, bombing, burning and killing. Pakistan recalled their Ambassadors. Moderate islamic clerics say that suicide bombings against british people is now justified.

Why is that? Who still thinks islam is a religion of peace?

George Bush is just george bush, he is no christian, he just say he is. Although he is a very deluded man, but I don't recalling him saying that suicide bombing is justified.

Have you read the Quran? Let me show you a verse.

008.012
When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.

Yes, christianity had its bad times but those day were ages ago and since the modern era, nothing of that sort have happened. On the other hand, islam has and always been so.

Arabs are passionate by nature, and Muslims are extremely touchy when it comes to "offenses"tof their faith.

However the thorny issue about satanic verses is not that the mock to prophet Muhammad, but the fact that it talks about a hidden truth of Islam: that the prophet himself accepted once that he spoke on behalf of the devil and not Allah.

what happened is that, in his attempt of being in good terms with everyone, he once said that it was ok to continue worshipping the goddesses that existed before Islamic times. later on he retracted himself from this "revelation" and said that Sheitan (the devil) had inspired him to say this and not Allah!....

now, that is the big deal and that's why the radical reaction. Salman Rushdie exposed this truth of Islam in a veiled way.

Because Christians realised "The Da Vinci Code" was a work of Fiction. Muslims didn't realist the same about "The Satanic Verses".

Let's be honest the first thing Muslims do is riot and call for people to be killed. In London with the furore over the Mohammed Cartoons there were placards saying "Behead those who insult Islam"

The first thing Christians do is understand what they feel passionate about then realise we live in a civilised society and if they feel strongly enough then protest peacefully. Have any fundamentalist Christians threatened to kill Dan Brown?

Christianity had its bad times too. Many were burnt as "heretics" because they went against the proscribed beliefs. Galileo was "shown the instruments of torture" and scared into recanting that the earth circles the sun. It does not make it right, it simply shows that blindly following any belief can lead to narrow-minded edicts. Not all Muslims are fanatics (I work with some that are very enlightened) but those that are fanatics make every Muslim look bad.

George Bush is claiming Christianity. Is he representing it as a peaceful religion?

Reply: I don't recall any Islamic clerics saying dropping bombs from the sky is justified either, douche bag.

And as far as Islamic verses: have you even read the bible? It's one of the most violent books of all time. And "Christians" have caused as much misery throughout the world as anyone.

And you can have an opinion, just don't expect people to take an uneducated opinion seriously. Especially when you can't even use your own language properly. What are you, in junior high or something?

Oh, SNAP! Take that!!! Score one for me, loser! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! AWESOME!!!
