Sighting a larger than normal animal can mean that you have caught sight of you fulgya or spirit guide. That it was drinking from your pool can mean several thing. Clear water usually indicate life or knowledge--especially spiritual. Pools represent fun and relaxation. So if the cat is your guide then he his telling you that spirituality also has a lighter side.

Thirsty cat? Someone dropped some tuna in the pool? Looking to make friends with catfish in the pool? Cat likes the taste of chlorine? Black cat wants to bleach his hair to white?

That the chlorine will upset it's stomach.

That you are going to pull some black hairs out of your pool filter

How HUGE was it? It may mean that the local zoo has lost a panther!

It means that you and all your immediate family are going to die! (At least within the next 300 years)

He has no fear of water.....And evidently no one has peed in the pool,as cats are very sensitive to that type of activity and would not drink tainted water.

I can offer no scriptual evidence to back my claim, this is purely subjective reasoning.

EDIT The no fear of water thing is bothering me....have the cat diagnosed by a vet. to rule out rabies.

Nah,he's probably just thirsty....cut back on his sodium and add more potassium rich foods.

Poor cat was just thirsty! Find the home the cat belongs to so it won't get hit by a car.

He was thirsty. Black fur and hot sun bad times. Its so hard to be a black cat in the summer. You should give him some water with ice cubes in it.
