NO. NO medicationsof any kind will be allowed, save birth control prescriptions. all other Rxs must be turned in and new ones issued if deemed appropriate. any OTC meds will be dispensed at Sick Call.

As an Army medic I can tell you the answer is NO. You can only bring regular prescription medications that you require on a daily basis and you would have discussed those with the Doctors at MEPS when they verified you were "Fit For Duty". As far as requiring Tylenol or Motrin you will have to go to sick call while in basic if you would require those meds for your menstral cramps. However something to look forward to, in case no one has told you yet, you may not experience a period while in basic because of the physical strain your body will endure. Army Strong is not just a motto................Good Luck to you! Also check out this website it lists what to bring and not to bring.

NO. The first week you are in boot camp you get a full physical including OB/GYN. Tell the docs at that time and ask them for a prescription. They should give you something for the pain, but you may have to wait till your period actually starts and then go to medical. You cannot bring in drugs with you to boot camp and they are very careful about given you drugs while there. I'm not saying you won't get them when you need them, but the likelyhood of you getting some just to hang out in your locker for when the pain shows up is slim. Just make sure you tell the docs about your issues. Who knows you may have a medical condition they can take care of for you instead of just numbing the pain each month.

Stick to exactly what the list says - when you need meds you go to sock call and you get your meds for free. If you have something that is not on the list they will either throw it out or store it until after basic. BE EXACT - it is just a GOOD IDEA ; ) Good luck (I would recommend getting on a birth control program that makes your periods less often or that stops them for awhile - then you don't have to worry about it - talk to your OBGYN

I don't know about the Army, but in the Marine Corps all meds had to be given to the DI and issued as necessary.

Unfortunetly you cannot but, when you go in and you are in pain from your mentral you can go to sick call and get it. But, i'm telling you know you won't get your period when your in basic your body will be so stressed out you won't get your period for like 3 months
