If someone were to actually prove the existence of God and Jesus was his son, wouldn't that be the most compelling news in the history of the world? Wouldn't that be something that would basically change the way everyone views the world and themselves?

Either its there or it isn't. If it is not there, am I suppossed to just pretend that it is?

I am always willing to change my mind. I just need to be convinced by the evidence. You on the other hand, seem to have your mind up as you have willed yourself into believing in something that most likely does not exist

I agree with footprints, if there was proof that ANY of the gods was real then it wouldn't be a matter of faith, it would be a matter of fact. Anyone who says there's proof is fooling themself.

I know that my answer will not do any good, but here it is:

It really does not matter how much evidence is out there. There are people that have made up their minds that God is not real and no matter what they see or what we tell them, they are going to say that it is all a hoax, or that we are delusional. I have seen the power of God. I have had my prayers answered. The Holy Spirit has spoken to me. I have a very close relationship with the Lord, and I feel sorry for those that don't. But, hey! It's called free will. And you've made your choice.

I do not know how a black cow can eat green grass and produce white milk but I still drink the milk!

I know that there is a God because the change in my life and the lives of others around me is all the evidence I need. When God begins to speak to your heart you will know beyond the shadow of a doubt of his existence.

We do not have to understand everything. His ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Blessed is he that believes but cannot see!

I would say there is evidence, STRONG evidence that God is indeed there. It comes in biology with the structure of proteins and DNA (Chirality). It comes in prophetic utterance of the Bible. And it comes by being the only reasonable method is which life could have begun.. But you are there demanding proof . Let me try to have you understand. Faith and proof are opposites. Where proof exists there can be no faith. We are told in scripture that salvation comes by faith. If there is proof salvation is not possible. Stop worrying about proof and seek the evidence that I just told you about that can build faith. God didn't leave us here and say "Trust Me" without reasons. He showed us the reason then said "Trust Me"... Jim

People have the right to believe whatever they want, as long as they realize that its going to sound like a bunch of malarkey to other people, its just going to happen. Those that don't acknowledge this are just arrogant.

More interesting would be conclusive proof of life on other planets or capturing a live sasquatch... both of those things would destroy many religions.

the devil is not asleep he is working hard people spend all this time trying to disprove the bible maybe if they spent the same amount of time reading it they would have some understanding .........God has already said people will turn a death ear to his word cause a carnal mind cannot understand the things of God
