Your cat has an allergy to the insects.

Had exactly the same with my cat - it was a flea allergy!!

although you flea treat your cat they can still get on her and bite - this causes the scabs. try keeping her inside for a while and treat her with prednisolone from the vet. if this works you know she is picking up fleas outside, you may have to increase the frequency of flea treatments. if she can stand being bathed use a flea shampoo - it worked for mine.

It could be some sort of skin condition caused from flea bites. Even though she is treated for flies and doesn't seem to have any. I bought some special shampoo at the Pet store for seberra. (not sure if that's spelled right) and it improved the condition. Its sort of like eczema

i have several cats and my black cat gets scabs every summer as he loves to sunbathe but has an allergy to the sun! the vet gives us cream and says to keep him indoors but he won't stay in. by autumn he's fine again. your cat is pulling her fur out to try to scratch and clean the scabs. if she won't stop then you may have to give her a neck cone for a day or so to try to disuade her. if all else fails then go back to your vet. good luck

she may need a shot of steroids, the itch resulting from an allergic reaction to tick and flea bites can make an animal do what she is doing.
I had a dog that the same thing happened to, we gave him a shot of steroid every six months to keep it under control.

Sounds like a skin infection. I would cleanse the scabbed areas with betadine regularly and see if it helps.
