with a 3rd carrier and a 4th one on the way... i´d say so....

the evidence is finally here and contiues to mount that Iran is supplying terrorist with weapons that kill our troops.... my heart goes out to all the family and friends of the fallen heros, especially to the 14 that have died in the last 48 hours...

but enough is fúcking enough! This road-side bombs from Iran keep killing and maiming our soldiers..... I think the US needs to get tough.... and say,

Listen Almajaridoa-whaterver-the-fúck-your name is... if one more road-side bomb from your country kills a US soldier
IT IS ON....

and if its not directly you, than you better find out who it is, cuz we´ve had enough of this shít....

they are supplying the weapons that have killed over 75% of our soldiers...... even if we are right next door, we line up some tanks and have our airforce do the rest....

No this would not make sense to do so. It would be a very bad policy for us to strike at Iran, and not at North Korea who's done the same thing Iran did. It looks biased and inconsistant, and saying this is what we should have done with North Korea is not justified either. We need to get out of Iraq as soon as possible, and Saddam hid his weapons well. However the American public does not want to see extended violence in a region historically known for violence since the beginning of time. There never will be a peace in the middle east even if Isreal wasn't there. There will always be violent infighting from a group of people that claim to be followers of peace, and we as a country, and society cannot change this. The best we can do is isolate it, and not let it spread outwards like the virus it is. If Bush were to try to mask the situation in Iraq as a covert action against Iran, he will find himself out of office very soon, so I say no, you're not about to see a war against Iran. A launch or limited action may occur, but I would lean more against then anything else. It will prove no good to do so.

All I can say is that I hope not. I have already spent the last 4 years on my own with our children. I think this would spread the forces very thin. I would hate to see this happen, then again soldiers in WWII spent a lot longer with boots on the ground sometimes 3 plus years and we cry about 15 months.....

I do not think so. It is true that US had previous plans for sttriking Iran two years ago (and articles about that issue are available on the internet you can easily find them), I honestly do not think that this is an option now. It is very hard with the mess in Iraq that the US would get into another war in Iran. May be will push the UNSC to put sanctions on it (economic mainly), but striking...I do not think so. It can frighten it with forces and stuff but it is extremely hard to strike it.

there is no true answer to this question...at least by the people on the Internet. the only answer can come from some one in the government. It is my hope that this situation calms down and we come to a compromise. If another republican comes into office...I am sure something of this sort may come to pass.

If a Demarcate comes into office, then maybe not, however that depends on if Iran is still supplying weapons to the extremists in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Palestine. If a war does in sue I see it becoming WW3 with Israel and Russia backing different sides on the matter.

No.

Doesn't anybody pay attention towards US policy in regards to Iran?

So far your sources have predicted 30 out of 0 attacks on Iran. Why should we think that they are going to be right this time?

It depends what you mean by "about"

In a few days? No
In a few months? Probably not.
In a few years? Looks likely.

It certainly seems like, for whatever reason, Iran wants this war. We probably won't have much of a choice, unless we want to see terrorists armed with nukes.

If that's true the price of the gasoline is going to go up again. We are only asking them to get rid of their nuclear weapon. Whether they have it or not who cares. The war in Iran is very close just one more shot of Jack Daniel.

How bout sending them Paris Hilton instead of Jimmy Carter.

No. We don't have the manpower in our military. We don't have the political will in our country and they haven't done anything major lately to piss us off. The government of Iran sucks and should be taken out (but not by us). Attacking Iran at this juncture would be the single stupidest thing the government could do - and they have along record of VERY stupid things they have done.
