Bought mattresses - total 3500.00 -
1700.00 was charged to my card. I paid it in full. 9 months later, they added 1800 to my credit card, without my authorization..... Im not denying I owed it, but 9 months later??

Yes, it was a legitimate charge even 9 months later. They don't need your authorization. The credit card company already authorized that charge the day you bought it. The total charge should put through at the time of the purchase but for reason it was delayed. When you said you paid in full, do you mean you paid $3500 or $1700?. If you only paid $1700 then they have the right to go back and charge you the rest and they don't need your authorization

That happened to me before. They do audits on cards every so often and find missed money, then plop it on there without any expectation. I would talk to them about it and see why it was added. Because it is 9 months later, you may be able to chop it down.

I presume you KNEW that you were undercharged when you saw your credit card bill ? `That being the case, the honorable thing to do would be to inform the merchant of their error. Since they have now caught up with you and you admit that you owe the money, the honorable thing to do is to SHUT UP and pay what you owe.
