Why do they bleep out the F word ,but not the word God D** ?
I take more offense on hearing the G word than the F word. The F I like to do as much as possible.Does it not say in the bible not to use his word in vain? Is it just me or is this just wrong !

AMEN! That is totally wrong and I have very often asked myself that very question. It's messed up isn't it? But that's the world we live in now.

I'm still confused as to how such a multifunctional word can be considered offensive. It is an acronym
Fornication Under Consent of the King. In early Anglican days, "you may kiss the bride" was actually "you may now F#@&" (it was understood that this wasn't immediate, but...)

Also, show me one other word in this language that can be used as a noun, a verb, an adjective (add -ing) and an adverb (again, add -ing).

Back to your question though, just change the channel. Or say a rosary every time you hear something offensive. Oh, wait, you would never get off your knees. Sorry, my bad. Throw your tv away, it's the only hope you have.

It says not to use his name in vain, but the world is at a point where it doesn't think that using the GD term or JC is bad. That's the world right now.

Pickup a TVGuardian. It reads the closed captioning and filters out offensive language. You can choose how sensitive the filter is.

So, use the parental controls on your TV or cable box, and problem solved! Let each person make the decision on what words are offensive to them.
