Yes, I realize how ridiculous I sound, but I feel so wasteful throwing away the pickle juice after I'm done with a jar of pickles and I do love dill pickles so I go through a lot of it. Does anyone have any recepies/ideas for the leftover juices?

Ooooooohhhhhh, including it to tuna salad! Now there's a solid concept!! **data in lower back of ideas for destiny use** i don't know what anybody else does, yet i like to save pickle juice to pickle canned green beans. i like the decrease green beans, then I drain the juice and then placed the beans interior the pickle juice. i'm not sure how long to circulate away them there and have never stated the time, yet I examine each so often to work out if the beans style pickled. i like putting the beans on salad! a number of my acquaintances decide to pickle eggs with it, yet i'm no longer a great fan of pickled eggs. Bologna? have not tried it, yet could whilst the present pickle jar is empty. If i do no longer use the pickle juice for green beans, I frequently toss it.

You can use pickle juice for just about any foods which need vinegar added to them...ie: coleslaw, potato salad, spinach, misc. Also, you can make homemade salad dressings with it...ie: mix pickle juice, oil (canola or olive or half each), water (optional), and seasonings (i like a package of italian dressing), blend well & serve over salad. Or, make a mayonaise with it for hamburgers...ie: in food processer or mixer combine pickle juice, egg whites, oil, ketchup, and pickles, salt & pepper (optional), then zap! (you have homemade big mac special sauce). Enjoy! ;)

Cover hard boiled eggs with it and leave it in the refrigerator for a couple of days and you'll have wonderful pickled eggs. It might sound strange if you have never had them, but they are really good plain or using in salads.

Put sliced cucumbers, onions, carrots and/or pieces of cauliflower in leftover pickle juice and in a couple of days they will be pickled.

Throw in some whole garlic cloves, some boiled, peeled eggs and store in the fridge for a week or so.

Warning: If hubby eats them and drinks beer, make up the couch!!

I use it in my tuna salad along with mayo.

My grandmother had a recipe for potato & pickle soup.... sounds gross but it's a Polish delicacy, and DE-LISH.

Don't laugh, but a splash in a bloody mary is great. Or I've also used it instead of vinegar in egg salad or deviled eggs. You can also put a touch of it in tartar sauce.
