My Grandfather and one of my daughters are not Christian. Actually, my daughter is only 4, so she has time still.

Anyway, it makes me uncomfortable knowing they will burn in h**ll if they were taken home today, but it is what it is.

Good luck to you

Yes, it is what it is...and unfortunately they are both going to hell.
Young or old, if you are not a Christian, you are going to burn.

OK, take a deep breath because I am going to. Just because someone has a different faith than you doesn't mean they are going to burn in hell. I am not trying to be mean, but who ever said that your belief is the only one that will get you to god. I used to believe that because that is what I was taught growing up. But think about it how is it fair. God is all loving and all forgiving, right? Then if it is such a sin to worship a different way then why wouldn't we be forgiven? I don't know, I think we all go to the same place even our pets! We all came from the same place, we all go back. Make sense? I do not believe that an innocent baby who is the closest to god that you can be would go to limbo if it dies before it is baptized. Why would god do that? I don't believe the original sin stuff either.

I am not dissing your christian belief, because I was there for 20 years and further more who am I to judge. I just don't want you to spend your life worrying that your family will go to hell because they are not Christians or to ruin your relationship with them because you maybe try to persuade them to change. Maybe I am not right, but like I have said many times, it gets me through this life and I do not fear death or what is coming after. I wish you all the peace and love in the world.

Actually, every Human Being's "Faith" is different from every other Human Being's; therefore I would have to answer your question with "Yes!".

As for your statement, "...it makes me uncomfortable KNOWING they will burn in h**ll...", may I ask how you came by that Knowledge? Is it not actually your BELIEF? If so, why do you cling to Beliefs that make you uncomfortable, especially concerning your Grandfather and DAUGHTER!?

As a Christian, I can tell you comfortably that they still have a chance to go to heaven unless they have venomously rejected wholely and completely the gospel of Christ.

I have two uncles and an aunt and most of their children who are not Christian. But they had not the opportunity to recieve the gospel, and therefore are not responsible for brushing off their chances of becoming Christian. When they die, before judgement day, they will have a chance to be taught the gospel and a chance to accept it or not.

If they do indeed accept it, voila, they have a chance to go to heaven and their lives will be judged according to their knowledge and deeds, and if their deeds reflect the expanse of their knowledge (without gospel they have more leniency with what they had done).

It all depends on their heart. If their heart is good and their deeds match, they have a faith in a God, even though Christ has not been brought to them. They will have a chance, like you and me, to truly accept the gospel.

Fear not, dear friend. :) Good luck.

I am the only atheist in my family. Mom's father was a Baptist pastor, and Dad's family was all Methodist. I am uncomfortable about my relatives wasting so much money on nonsense by giving it to preachers to buy Rolexes and Cadillacs. There is no Hell or Heaven, so you need not worry. i'd worry more about the grim, depressing and boring heaven my family discusses. No one could stay there long, for everything fun is sin.

All my family is of the same religion (Muslims) but I have Christian, Muslim, Sikh friends. I haven't met many people of other faiths. It doesn't bother me what religion others follow, I would be friends with a person of any religion.

I'm sure there are those in my family that either don't believe or believe in something other than Christianity, but that is not a topic of conversation.

My mom is an Roman-catholic, my dad is an Greek-catholic, my uncle is an orthodox.I'm agnostic.Only 33% of humanity is christian.Seems like we'll all rot in hell. You'll have a lot of space in heaven, but it seems like The Inferno will have to expand.
