Rather than fearing incorporeal beings that have never been seen, why don't we work on ourselves and try to figure out how to make ourselves better people?

People tend to apply causation to everything. We just evolved that way. The environment that our ancestors lived in applied an immediate cause most of the time; i.e. "I'm hungry, I eat, I'm not hungry anymore. Eating CAUSES hunger to go away".

When people were trying to figure out what caused bad luck (the answer, of course, is nothing); they attributed it to some unseen force.

Evil spirits are real...they are trying to influence us all the time...they never sleep...but we have much more power over them than most of us realize...why? we were sent here to make choices...we have the power to call upon God through Christ to help us with ANY situation we may encounter...our words are very powerful, our prayers are very powerful, especially when spoken from the heart, and God's words are the most powerful in the universe...with our words, and actions, we are able to heal or destroy ourselves and those around us...we cannot blame evil spirits for what we choose to do, we can only blame them for the temptations that are placed before us, in the end, we decide what to do with those temptations.

Well it originates from satan according to the bible but it does live in us as well, with every situation you are at a crossroads you choose one way or the other. Once realized
you become more aware of the choices you make and constantly grow into a better person.

Us, Are you saying, you are a demon. I don't understand why some have to see something in order to believe. The Bible speaks of demons, and our problem, at times, we try to fix things on our own. Without Christ, we can do nothing, because the evil in us, we inherited from Satan. With Christ, we can do all things.

It is true, Graciela, that humans are in charge of their own behavior, but don't think that Satan does not exist, ok? He is the one that originally deceived Eve and then she went on to tell Adam to pursuade him to eat of the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge also.

Satan is the originator of the "lie" and who planted the first seed of doubt. In 1914 he and his demons were finally thrown out of the heavens for good and down here to the earth. Jehovah cleaned out the heavens and now we must be on extra guard:

Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.” (Revelation 12:12b) Satan’s ouster from heaven does indeed mean woe for the literal earth, which is being ruined by selfish humans under his control. (Deuteronomy 32:5)

Don't ever fool yourself into believing that Satan and his demons do not exist. They do. We have a choice whether to be influenced by demonic, satanic forces or if we choose to love Jehovah God and his son Jesus and live our lives in harmony with godly standards. The day when humans believe that Satan does not exist, "he has you hook line and sinker".

Evil? to believe in Evil as an Entity..requires that you also Believe in Good as an Entity...in my opinion...a Normal psychologically balanced person...knows when they do something positive..and they also know when they do something negative...being creative is a positive..being destructive is negative...if you identity with the negative more than the positive do you not bring to the world and to life...that negativity?..thereby giving that negativity Life? and expressing it? Principles be they good or evil..positive or negative..have meaning only in Human terms. The Human mind establishes the bounds of both principles. thus one can choose to express Good or Evil...it is a Human Choice.

Ephesians 6:12
" For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places".

We are in a spiritual battle and Satan and his minions do indeed fight against us....the book of Job,is one very clear picture of such......However these next two scriptures are just a few of many that lend validity to your position as well.

GALATIANS 5:19-21

19. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, covetings, wickednesses, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness: all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man.” MARK 7:14–23

We are in a dual battle......soul vs spirit as well as man vs Satan

People don't want to face that someone could actually do horrible things because then they would have to face that for themselves that they were capable of it. Also, they don't like to take responsibility for their own actions because then they experience guilt an shame. So it is easier to say satan influenced the crime in both instances.

Demons are not made up! You have been mislead in your thinking, They were once angels, but turned their backs on God and decided to follow Satan, end result, God banished Satan and his angels to earth. where today they still do their jobs of causing problems, they are real. Just as God is real!
