Hi, I'm doing a survey and would like to know how many people would date a middle eastern man/woman (ie, do you find people from middle east attractive physically/mentally).

I am an American girl and I once dated a guy from Turkey. I met him in Istanbul while on a 2 week trip. 4 months later, I went back to see him for Christmas. I was going to stay 1 month with him, but instead stayed 2 weeks when we had a major falling out. He went to his Mom's house, supposedly and left me alone for 3 nights in a row after I went that far to see him. I cried so much every night wondering why he would not come back to his place to be with me after work. He was such a jerk to me. I still had fun sightseeing during the day while he was at work. He wouldn't even take a break most days to have lunch with me. Instead, he got one of his cowokrkers to "escort" me to lunch. He said his Mom hated foreigners. A week ater he said I had to leave early because I was falling in love with him and he thought he loved me before, but at the moment he didn't love me. I had dinner with another Turkish guy...it was only dinner on a night he ignored me. He came home from work to slap me really hard and my bottom lip was swollen. I don't want to generalise about all Turkish men, but needless to say, I am no longer attracted to middle eastern guys for the most part. I tend to lean towards Korean and Japanese men these days. I loved Istanbul though. Thanks to that jerk, I had a free place to stay for 2 weeks...hahaha...serves him right!!! Hey pwwatson8888, you better watch out for Iranians though. Many of them marry their first cousins to please heir family. I had an Iranian prof in uni and I am sure his wife was his cousin and he was cheating on her with another prof...I'm sure.

White female. I would if I found him interesting. They are usually very smart so that would be a plus if he was but it depends. I wouldn't say no just because the person is from the middle east.

No... I won't state my race and gender. Yes I would date someone from the middle east if I found them socially and physically attractive.

Sure. Lebanese women are the most beautiful women on the planet. [But they are high maintenance.]
Palestinian women are a close second followed by Jordanians but most of them are Palestinian.
Iranian women are also attractive (not all but then not all American ones are either).
attractive = depends on the individual but as a rule - just go google it

I don't find their men that attractive, most are too short for my taste. But my eldest brother is dating a woman whose family is Palestinian and they love each other! She's very pretty too!

They are regular people. How can you put a label on them because of where they are from? So dating them would be fine.

I am female/caucasian and no I would not because our cultures would clash, and I don't believe they would consider women as equals.
