Why am I getting squares in place of certain letters when I print a document?

My first thought was that the printer wasn't recognizing the font. But it is only 2 letters and the same letters appear fine in other parts of the document.

It's using a font the printer doesn't understand. Try changing to a normal font.

the printer or printer driver doesn't have the font used in the document.
