to bring the lower classes under their control. I don't care what religion it is...Cathlic, Hindu, Muslim, Protestant, Lutherism, Jehovah's Witnesse...you are all victims of mind control, only you can't see it because your mind is under the control of people who have a lot to gain from organized religions. All your sacred books are nothing but a bunch of lies and perversions. I don't care what "sacred" book you use. There is nothing sacred about any of them. But, who am I to tell you what to believe? Go ahead and believe what ever you want, if it makes you happy. But ask yourself, right now, are you really any happier because of your religion?

Hello Sam D.. :)

Religion in its self may be a Big hoax..

But having faith is not religion, it is a relationship with our Father, the Creator of all things.. :)

I was raised an Atheist all my young life..so I do know the difference between reality and fantasy..of mind control and heart control..

My mind is not under any ones control..though it used to be, until I finally found out, I do have the choice to believe or not to believe..

My heart has been washed clean, my eyes are opened, my mind is set on things that are above.. :)

The Love the Lord bestows down upon us (The gift of the Holy Spirit), is like nothing you have ever experienced before..

But I know by prior experiences, these are what All of us strive for each and every day of their lives, without finding them (all at the same time)..
Peace that passes all understanding, the Kindness, Gentleness, the Unspeakable Joy, the Love and Forgiveness one has for EVERYONE..

Is something that man cannot give us..

This is why I will Never turn my back on my Lord..for once I was lost..but Now I am saved..Amen!!

To answer to your question, Yes..I am so much happier (not because of any religion) since I found Jesus..For He Is Love.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

One of the first things Christ did was consult the traditions and burdens that religion put on the people. For this reason God says "judgment will begin with the house of God." My sacred book the Holy Bible, the living Word of God, has many things in it that the church refuses to acknowledge. God said, "my burden is light and my yoke is easy." If you are exhausted because of the church, you are not in God's Word. We are not to become exhausted, fearful or anxious.
We are to love God and worship God, not anything for or in a church building. You've got nothing but an empty building until the people come in bringing the Holy Spirit inside of them. My happiness stems from my love for the Lord and knowing that the Lord loves and cares for me. When I give, I give to the Lord and I have fulfilled my tithe. If the church misuses the money in anyway, the pastor and elders will suffer the judgment of God, but I've done what God told me to do. The same goes for giving to the homeless. The homeless may take the money and buy alcohol or drugs, but I gave because they said they were hungry and homeless. God honors what I did and judges how they spent or used what was given to them.

We will all be held accountable to God. Not the church, not the religion, God is the righteous Judge of all mankind. The Creator spoke this world into existence and by His word we are standing.

I beg to differ with you, but Religion was not started by the upper class in order to bring the lower classes under control.
In fact, it's the upper classes, sometimes, that don't believe in religion at all.

I'm going to take three religions and try to explain why you are wrong in your assertion:

1) Judaism - Other than the creation story, most of the old testament tell about the least among us, who God chose to be prophets, so that they could tell the upper class rulers when they had done wrong.
Moses: A sheep herder that God chose to lead his people out of Egypt.
David: A sheep herder and harpist that God chose to lead his people.
Eliazar: A priest/prophet.

2) Christianity
Jesus: The son of a carpenter who taught that we should love our neighbor and respect our community and save our friends. By the way, Christ often ate with the least desirable people, such as tax collectors and grave diggers.
John: A prophet that survived on honey and locusts.

3) Islam: Some believe that Mohhamed was a bandit and thief.

As for myself, I am at peace with myself and the world around me, because Christ is part of my life. Does that mean I give up my feelings and let people attack me? No, it just means that I temper my actions with forethought.

You are so wrong the upper class had nothing to do with it. Belief in God and His precious SON Jesus is the only hope this world has for salvation from destruction. Before I gave my life to HIM I was miserable, now I am gloriously happy. You have the right to believe any thing you want. But you consider this if you are right and I die I will never the difference, but if God;s word is true when you die you will live in torment for eternity and every word that a true beleiver has said to you will ring in your head for eternity. The time of Christ's soon return is growing short please do not hesitate to accept Him as your savior. as it was in the days of Noah so will it be in the last days.

Happier than what? Happier than you? You don't sound like a very happy person. You sound bitter and angry.

Yes I am happy being a Christian. Anyway, why do you care if people love their religion? Our sacred book - the bible - is the living word of God and a true roadmap for life.

Karl Marx said it best: "Religion is the opium of the people.
What that means is as long as people have their religious beliefs you can not control their minds. Which means the state can not control their minds.

Good example of that is Hitler and Nazi Germany.
Another good example it Stalin And Communist Russia.

Question is are you going to let the state control your mind? Or are you going to let God control you mind?

Sam, you are a victim of the devil spirit and you have b een controlled and continue under the evil control in your mind and heart. You allowed yourself to be under the control of satan. All what you are saying are false and evil minded. We also don't care about your being with evil mind. If you belief to the demons that has been disturbing your mind, go ahead, we don't care. Why don't you ask yourself to b elieve the demon rather than God?

what is better to be guided by the scared books that have been passed on from generation to generation? or ruin your life not knowing what is right or wrong and what you should believe in? how do you think we built the bases of this world? by using these scared books that have survived on earth for centuries. all this law and order, making a better society, making yourself a better person, learning what one should do and knowing the difference between the right and wrong. excelling in knowledge everything we do, is dependable on what we learned from our ancestors and what they learned from these scared books, which you call lies and none realistic. search on how human have started building their foundations and how they have survived till now, it will answer your question.

No, you don't need to say it again, but I guess you probably will.

Everybody experiences some form of "mind control"--from our parents, our governments, our jobs, corporations, culture, etc. It's part of being human.

Yes, I am happier because of my religion.

yes I am. I lived a life outside of Christianity most of my life.
There was always something missing in me and I tried desperately to fill it with anything and everything I could get my hands on. nothing fulfilled me. at the lowest point in my life,
I was about to commit suicide, I swear I could hear God say,
I am here and I love you. Needless to say, I gave my life to Christ Jesus and have never looked back.
