I DO NOT ENDORSE THIS MISSION STATEMENT IN ANYWAY

"Mission statement
Exalt Jesus Christ as Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer through a safe, wholesome,
family-friendly center for learning and discovery.
Equip Christians to better evangelize the lost
through a combination of exhibits, research, and
educational presentations that uphold the inerrancy of
the Bible.
Challenge visitors to receive Jesus Christ as
Savior and Lord and to accept the authority of the Bible"

It makes it pretty clear that it is not about science.

My favorite part is the fact that, according to their own dogma, Jesus Christ is the creator of nothing. He is supposed to be nothing more than the son of god, the earthly manifestation of their deity. The creator was not the son, but the father (I mean, come on guys, he "created" the earth about 4,000 years before the son was born).

I also like their attempt in taking in the children "safe, wholesome, family-friendly center".

I have to wonder if it is similar to P.T.Barnum's museum, I mean after all, without coming out and stating it, they have the same mission statement. His was just less flowery "There's a sucker born every minute".

What is scientific about them basically saying "We're here to prove god/jesus did it because the bible says so and we've created some exhibits that show how the stuff in the bible might've happened."

That's like creating a harry potter museum and discussing how everything REALLY happened in the books. Truly pathetic.

i won't be in a position to have faith that they could say that the Jews suffered the Holocaust as a results of fact they did no longer have faith interior the "Lord's way!" this is unwell! Then they suggested that God rains wrath on people's heads in the event that they do no longer have faith the way they say they might desire to. i assume that 9/11 explosion that killed an incredible sort of folk grew to become into purely God being wrathful. i assume the Oklahoma explosion grew to become into purely God being wrathful, fantastically to all those little sinning toddlers. I used to call myself Christian, yet i think of i'm changing my strategies. The greater I pay attention of those idiots, the greater i desire to stay faraway from any so referred to as domicile of Worship. would desire to be domicile of Horrors!

Jesus Christ as CREATOR should be good enough, because think about it, if they want to show people that he is the CREATOR, wouldn't that have to mean that the museum is a CREATION museum? I endorse this mission statement, because it is all that we Christians hope that non-believers will see.

The whole thing is pretty funny, especially the "inerrancy of the Bible" part.

They are absolute jackasses. Thanks to them, the US has taken a huge leap forwards in the Laughing Stock of the Planet race.
