It just means you are smarter that the average. Just jumping into the world of make believe is easy. Many would have you do it because that is what they have done.

Ok Honey you sound confused. I am sorry for that. I am Christian, and I KNOW what is truth. I even have it written in a Non-Fiction Book. Its called the Bible! I know its the truth because it makes sense. The Bible says that EVERYONE MUST make a choice, by not making a choice you are making your choice. You either you choose to follow the Father or you choose not to. In the Bible it says that the ONLY way to the Father is through the Son, Jesus Christ. Non of us are perfect, only God is perfect. Jesus came and died for your(and mine) sins. So when you die(or Christ returns) and God asks you did you follow my commandments? You wont be able to say yes but Jesus will be there to say" I have already taken her punishment!" Your heart will be clean.
Now you might think "well, I am a good person. I don't kill people, I don't cheat or steal and I am nice to people." Right?
Ok. Great. But we are not ever good enough only God is good enough. Here think about this....Have you ever told a lie? Even a small one that didn't really "hurt" anyone? We all have. Have you ever saw something someone else owned and wanted it badly? I know that I have. How about this one...Have you ever looked at the opposite sex and lusted? Ok just with those you have broken The Lords commandments. By telling a lie, by coveting something, and by looking at someone with lust in your heart you have commited aldultery! But God is a loving God and He is merciful. He sent us His Son to give us a way into Heaven!
It is WONDERFUL and so easy to get! All you have to do is ask for it and say I am sorry that I am a sinner but I know that I am! Not hard at all!
I hope that this helps, please if you want to talk more email me! I am praying that you are open to the truth and will recieve it!
May God be with you and in your heart!

I would say that as long as you are honestly searching for the truth you'll be okay in the end. Personally that is what I have tried to do, and time and time again, the answer I have come up with is that (despite the fact that it's very misunderstood), Catholicism is the way to go. The book that's coming to mind for recommendation is called "A Father who Keeps His Promises" by Dr Scott Hahn. Whatever you decide to do, don't give up the search and don't stop questioning. Because you are human and have a soul, you have an innate yearning to know God. I think as long as you don't ignore that yearning, you'll be okay. Good luck.

Pretty confusing, isn't it?

Angel, I would recommend that you start with learning to discern the difference between Knowledge and Belief. When you state that you don't "Know" what you believe in you are stating a BELIEF! You DO Know, but you don't "believe" you Know!

You obviously are capable of KNOWING what you DON'T believe, why don't you KNOW what you DO believe?

You will have to listen to YOUR Heart to Know the right Beliefs FOR YOU. I could spend the rest of the week telling you what I Believe, but I can't give you a single good reason why you should accept MY Beliefs as YOUR Beliefs. That part has to come from YOU!

No. It's not horrible at all. It's good to question, question and question some more. I did this for many years after having been raised in a spiritual tradition that didn't fit my needs. Now that I'm in my 30's I've found that my spiritual needs have definitely changed and that's a good thing. Once the questions have been answered I think we'll all call it a day. Om shanti......

Even if your choice is to believe in nothing you're still OK. Being true to yourself helps you to be true to others.

Religion is for people afraid of going to hell, Spirituality is for people who have already been there!

Seek out and find your own concept of god or a divine power. As long as you are seeking, you are growing spiritually.
I am sure if you follow up and are openminded to any and all beliefs, that doesnt mean you have to believe in them, just be respectful and tolerant of them, you will not only learn a great deal about how others perceive god , but perhaps will be able to find your true spiritual path in the process!

I hope you find what it is you are seeking.
Blessed Be )o(

you don't have to choose a religion, because it will be always the wrong choice, follow your heart, and look for the truth and in whatever religion you find it, it will be the right one!!! there is only one truth if you want to find it ask God with a good intention and he will light your path until you discover it yourself.

First and foremost, learn to believe in YOURSELF.Having done that, whatever you believe or disbelieve shall be by your free choice and you would know for sure the 'why' side of it.Rest are minor issues and would find their own slots.Wish you nothing but the BEST.

I stated this in another answer. It is interesting how we have this internal desire to know about something greater than us. To have a conscience and to know love and hate, right from wrong. You say no one really knows anyway. That's not true. If you chose not to believe in anything, then you still believe and you will never stop wondering. In times of trouble and joy. There will always be that little voice that questions. Is this it? That's the purpose of my life? Until you find, hopefully, and answer the call of God in Heaven. The biblical God. In Jesus Christ, who died for you and me. Then you can't believe not to have believed in Him all along.
