I think it can be, in a way. In the movie, you have all of these characters, and some of them believe other things. They don't discriminate, and they don't make everything look like it came from a magazine. It's about acceptance. Accepting you for who you are, and others for who they are, without expecting anyone to change to your liking. What do you think? (And yes, I've watched both of them too much, my daughter is crazy about them)

Truthfully - God works in mysterious ways. He can (and WILL) use any means possible to reach someone in order to get them moving in the right direction. Baby steps...baby steps.... spiritual maturity is a growth process and it has to start somewhere!

Btw....there is definitely discrimination in Shrek. Hello? Lord Farquart ring any bells? He wanted to get rid of everyone who didn't "measure up" (pun intended) to his standards. He put me in mind of the Pharisees that Jesus was always confronting!

Yeah, they accepted pinnocchio even though they found in Shrek 2 that he wore pink thong underwear. Nobody looks at him any differently. :-) I wouldn't say it's spiritual, but there are some good messages in there.

'People could interpret the 'Friday the 13th' movies as spiritual, if they wanted to. Spirituality is perception, as is reality.
