First: understand that an agnostic is not necessarily a bad person; it is a person's heart, not belief, which matters in this situation.
I do believe in God, and I married someone who professed to worship God day and night. But I tell you that I probably would have been better off with an agnostic. Many agnostics are in fact ahead spiritually speaking than their peers who carry religion on their forehead.
