Your cat has it's own agenda - When they want to play with you or be petted by you - they will come and cuddle and be nice - when they are done they go away from you and lay in the window and look outside -- that is just your cats temperament - and that is OK -- they are actually like people but they just show the emotions more - When they want to be bothered they are in your face - when not look for them in their favorite hiding place and take your chances

You first let your cat to do its own thing ;let your cat hide under the bed if he wants to but don't punish him if he bites you just walk away from him after he bites you .We have a cat that we got 1 year ago and is now just letting us pet him .

Good luck

Usually, cats don't like to be petted for more than a couple of minutes. Use cat toys to play with him instead of using your hand. My cats love the cat "fishing pole." Don't take it personally that's only their nature. Cats have different personalities. I have one who loves to cuddle and another one who doesn't like being petted at all. Good luck!

All it quite is is a sort of coloring, and that i've got considered it as one be conscious. they have not any specific character as a results of fact it could randomly take place. it is not a breed this is bred for temperament as properly to coloring/look. If the cat has white on it, it quite is termed calico. it quite is purely approximately purely considered in women folk, as a results of fact it demands one X chromosome with an orange gene and one X chromosome with a black gene. adult males have XY chromosomes, so as that they could the two be black or orange. some adult males have a uncommon genetic abnormality giving them XXY chromosomes. This oftentimes potential they are sterile. upload: they are no longer categories of cats, a tortoishell is purely a speckled orange and black cat without white and a calico is a speckled orange and black cat with some white patches. i think of interior the united kingdom calicos are tortoiseshell and white.Like I suggested, it quite is a coloring, no longer a breed or "sort". it quite is the comparable sort of gene blend, there is better than one gene for shade so as that they do no longer all have the impressive smae shade combos.

Some kitties simply don't like excessive attention, but do like to be around their people. It sounds to me like this kitty does like you. But he doesn't want to be petted too much. So give him a couple of little pets, then let him alone- unless he asks for more.

If a cat is biting you, it is suffering a anger issue. If the cat is not there for protection, or security, or playful partnership, then he has outlived his welcome. Stay away.
