The choice has always been between hell and heaven.

Well, God didn't give atheist's a world to rule over because..... Satan was actually once an angel. His name was Lucifer. He decided he wanted to be greater than God, and that is when God banished him to hell. There was no way to give anything to an atheist, because there were no atheists. It all took place in heaven, therefore there was no one questioning God's existence. Additionally, God IS fair and just, even though it does not always feel like it. We don't know what the future holds, so we have no way of knowing how the events of today will shape us for what we will endure tomorrow. Fair and just does not mean giving us everything we want. When parents give their children everything they want, they make bratty little monsters. Just a thought.

That is a really interesting question. Well, there are many different beliefs on this within the religious community. Many religious people don't believe in Satan, or don't believe that he rules over hell. In fact, most don't think he rules over anything, so that is likely irrelevant to the question. One interesting belief, however, is that the athiests WILL get a world to rule over, at least, the good ones. They will get THIS one when all the religious people are taken to heaven. Wouldn't that be interesting? Then athiests could try to prove that religion is really the cause of all evil in the world. If they still have human nature, however, I doubt they would succeed. Not to insinuate that athiests or more or less evil than religious people, but rather that people are people, regardless of their religious beliefs. In any case, by what merits should athiests have a world to rule over? What is your justification for it? If you don't have a world to rule over, maybe it IS just and fair. Perhaps you have to earn it.

The simple fact that you are questioning is proof that deep inside there is a need for knowledge of God. We are born with a conscience. Why? From a little child on we know right from wrong. How is that? Well, I believe that God has implaned this part in us because He wants everyone to have the choice between Him and the world. He already has given you to rule over the world. He has given you free will to do as you please, hoping you will choose Him. You don't have to be a satanist. But the desires of the world, the human flesh, those are of satan, whether you want that to be true or not. Does that mean you're evil? No, you can be the nicest kindest person and yet, without God in your heart you will still be lost. It is not what we are to others that sets us apart, but what we are to God.

The Bible says God is fair and just. Lucifer (Satan before he fell) claimed God wasn't fair and just. Satan does not rule over hell. There is no hell yet and when there is, Satan will be destroyed in it along with the lost human beings. They will not keep on living, they will perish. Here's a counter question. Why if you "atheists" don't believe in God or the Devil do you always ask questions about them? It seems to me you know in your heart that there is a God and Satan, there is a Heaven and a Hell, you just don't give up your rebellious ways! So, why if you don't believe in anything having to do with religion do you always ask questions about religion?
God is just and fair. He gives us a free will, to shoose His way, or Satans way. If you choose the way of Satan, the way of the deciever, why not be punished justly for turning your back on God?

Satan does not rule over hell. in fact, he's never been there yet.
One more misconception about satan!

who told you that satan rules over hell, he is a habitant of hell but wether it is hell or heaven or all this great universe, they are all the property of God, wether you are a believer or not you don't have to claim your own world since it's not yours.

The bible that christians love to wave around as evidence of their god suggests someone who is anything but fair and just.

It would seem from their book that god has a bad habit of over reating to things like eating a piece of fruit or tossing an insult in his general direction.

He makes some of the despots of history look like nice guys by comparison.

If there is a God, and if that God is the God of the christian bible, then he sure as hell isn't fair. Why would he give me a brain that works on logic and reason and then expect me to believe a book that has neither logic or reason?

GOD SAYS.......

(Isaiah 55:6-to-11) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

(Isa 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

(Isa 55:8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

(Isa 55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

(Isa 55:10) For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

(Isa 55:11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

(Isa 55:12) For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Thanks, RR
