I'm not sure that there is anywhere I truly wish I had not gone, because then I wouldn't be who I am today. I do have regrets about my past and my life before my husband and children, but as I said before, if I hadn't done what I've done, or been through different trials, even if they were trials I put myself in, I wouldn't be the woman I am today.

As a teen, our church participated in a Campus Crusade for Christ Conference where we were given pamphlets on "How to witness to Catholics", "How to witness to Lutherans", etc.
After 2 days of this I felt sick to my stomach. It changed my view of Christians and how Christians interpret the Bible and religious beliefs.
The man who led the conference, Charles Johnson, later committed suicide due to depression. His note said he hoped his death caused his church to see the light of the truth he and Campus Crusade had been teaching. He left behind a wife, 3 kids, a wake of sorrow and division in the church.
I learned something about myself and others from this ... but some things you'd rather not learn the hard way. Church, for me, was a place to lose innocence and faith in religion.

On some nights out that have turned out to be rubbish - imagine if you could get back the money you wasted on drinks, entry fees and taxis on crap nights out - wow!

I went to see this guy in prison and he turned out to be a great "CON ARTIST!!!I would never visit a prison again unless it was somebody real close to me.
