Depending on your expectation on what it means to be 'Happily Ever After'. Most relationship move into different phases.
It often starts with passionate love and then it becomes excitement and before you know it, it becomes just comfort and then you just grow on each other and becomes a part of you. Of course when you start with passionate love, there wasn't so many issues of family, finance, work etc...these things affect your relationship.
Some end up bitterly, some just grew apart and some just grow on each other.

yes... but not in the la-de-dah fairy tale. You can be happy... but you have to determine what it is that makes you happy.
Some people's happily ever after is having 2 kids, a husband, a dog, and a white picket fence.
Another woman's might be to find a man who won't abuse her and will love her children.
And for those girls who love good old reality....
maybe more "contendedly ever after" is appropriate! :)

Nope. There's no such thing as "happily ever after" in a relationship. Relationships take work and compromise.

Life is about both "Happiness and Sorrow".
So, happily ever after is just true in fairy tales!
