When it is very hot, humans tend to perspire much more and this leads to a feeling of dehydration. At this point, drinking cold water helps, but the effect is temporary. Cold drinks and colas make matters even worse.

It has been found that drinking hot or warm tea or coffee is the best remedy to replenish the body with liquid and prevent recurring thirst.

This fact was discovered by the British when they invaded Asia as the Asian climate was totally alien to them.

Hello,

In the UK, TEA is the generally preferred drink in the afternoons.

That is a staple in the British culture.

And it is also practised in colonies that were under British rule even today.

In The USA, (COFFEE) is the staple for Americans generally.

Whether it is best used on a Hot or Cold day, is a personal preference.

Personally, I prefer to drink mine Very HOT, and without any Cream/Milk.

cold drinks in hot weather and ice cream in hot weather really does not cool your body temperature. it cools your mouth, but it really doesn't cool your entire body. And if the cold drink contains sugar, it takes a whole lot of energy to metabolize that substance. So in effect, it will make your body warmer! Drinking any beverage like water will hydrate your body, thus preventing you from passing out if you do dehydrate.

If people are used to drinking hot coffee or tea even when it's hot outside, then that's what they drink . I think they drink whatever they like, without regard to outside temperature.

Really? Perhaps, it is just a daily habit like drinking a cup of hot coffee in the morning or it is a way of treating themselves.

I know it is weird that people still used in drinking these type of drinks in hot weather. Perhaps it is the caffeine or the health benefits that you can get from drinking it in moderate amounts.

It can be just a habit.

OR

It can be the fact that they might be drinking ICED coffee or ICED tea.

This is probably because cold drinks can take up to three times longer for your body to absorb than warm drinks because it has to warm them up to your body temperature in your stomach first. Therfore drinking hot/ room temperature drinks are far better if you're thirsty when it's hot.

well!according to me one tea a day is one of the remedies against cancer but access of every thing is bad and coffee is suggested for low blood pressure, so keeping health in view people do so and it is said-''health is wealth''.
