Why do Java applications freeze on windows???

Weird... doesnt happen for me. Maybe it is your graphics card or sound card? i dont know maybe you should tell us which windows version you use.

Try upgrading to the latest version of Java...if you already have it, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. If it is "freezing" for a short while and then working fine, that is just because it is loading...Java is not a small program and it takes a while sometimes to load.
