When not working, Starbucks employee's recieve a 30% discount on all beverages or merchandise, this same discount applies to pre-bottled drinks and food items while on shift.

I would not think so because a cup of Starbucks averages around $3.00, doesn't it? Free coffee to the employees can certainly drain the inventory.

Yet it's good business relations for the employees too. I would vote yes or at least a discount provided.

It depends. If they work within a store (like a Safeway or Target) it is licensed, and they do not always get the same benefits.

We can have up to five free drinks on an 8 hour shift. (For an 8 hour shift, we get a half hour break, and two 15 min breaks)

You can get a free drink before your shift (must be about 30 min. before, no longer). One on each of your breaks, and a drink right after your shift.

We are not allowed to give them to people or friends.. and we cannot drink them on the floor as we work.
