I detest those schmucks who always say "get over it" you sound like a dang ten year old. This is very serious business. Illegal immigration is destroying America.
write, email, phone, fax your congressperson today, and tell them to stop this bill. Tell them to secure the borders !!! It is your duty. Just like it is the duty of our soldiers to do what the President and congress tells them, it is you duty as a citizen stateside to tell congress to stop the invasion and secure our borders. They work for us !!!! They think they work for big business, but they are mistaken. They work for the citizens, and we can fire them at will!!!!

somehow or another I'll bet the bill will pass in direct opposition to the wishes of the PEOPLE. I would also expect that those among us that are complacent will remain so while the rest of us attempt to vote the scoundrels out of office to let the new scoundrels rise to the surface. Bottom line, immigration is an issue that must be dealt with in a manner that appeases the American people. Immigration as we know it today, needs to end and a whole new system put in place. I am in favor of spending the money to round up and deport all illegal residents, build a wall, and make new Americans go through the process legally. If they try to cross the border do the same thing other countries do, shoot them as they are crossing, no questions asked.

The realistic ones. How do we truly close the borders. We can't stop other types of smuggling what makes us think we can do this. Plus how do get the illegals otu that are here now? I am a card carrying re3publican that actually voted erpulican in every election I have voted in and I am 53.

They dont understand the "NO" part of it.
Pretty sad really... our president wants a North American Union... and he cant achieve that goal with walls and deportation.

Most people understand that we cant just deport 12 million illegal alliens. But we CAN build a wall... China did, why cant we?
This bill will make CRIMINALS legal. Rapists, drug dealers, and murderers will have a legal right to stay in this country. They will have a right to receive welfare, health care, and they will inundate our schools. They will be able to bring relatives here.
We need to keep up the fight. We need to build a wall YESTERDAY, then we can start on the problem of those that are here, and those that are here need to keep their ILLEGAL status, and eventually if they are found committing a crime, they need to be deported. Employers that hire them need to face stiff fines.
Anyone who says they are doing jobs American's wont do it lying. They are doing landscaping, hanging drywall, doing construction, working in hotels... they are doing jobs Americans WANT TO DO!

The part you don't understand it that the Congress does not care one bit what we think. They are only interested in furthering their careers which means getting money from corporate America. Corporate America needs and wants cheap slave labor who cannot demand any more money or better working conditions or benefits. It is just a bonus that their labor is illegal so they cannot complain to anyone for fear of INS problems. We can threaten to put our Congressman out of work but he would just be replaced with someone just like him. Call your Congressman if you like but if you want him to listen send him a couple hundred thousand American dollars!

They don't understand the part about arresting 12 million undocumented illegals and deporting them.
I'm sure they would be very grateful to you if you just explained how that is going to be accomplished and who is going to pay for it.
Maybe we could put $1,000 a head bounty on them, hand out high powered rifles to all legal immigrants and citizens and let the fun begin.

Don is another pro illegal that doesn't believe in using numbers or statistics in his arguments, just emotion. So they all revert back to a 10 year old. The only numbers he is concerned about are the numbers increasing of ILLEGAL immigrants coming into this country.

Yes, I do rant to my senators on this issue. Unfortunately one of them is Lindsey Graham. I suspect he is sucking up to the Washington crowd so he can find a well paying job when he is not reelected to the senate.
