I was just wondering what you guys think of girls who are intelligent? would you rather date a girl who is a bit dim, or someone who is intelligent and you can have a good conversation with?
or do you just go for looks?

Intelligence matter much. I can't stand talking to girls that have no clue of what I'm talking about. I need someone who can hold a conversation and actually throw in some ideas. And looks don't matter much if the person under the skin is just a dum dum. So yes guys do like intelligent women. At least this guy does...

I think only dumb guys would want a girl who was "dim". One thing that is very attractive in girls is intelligence. Girls who are smart and ambitious have what it takes to make a relationship last. Of course I'd be lying if I said looks didn't matter at all, but I have dated several girls I thought were just "hot" only to find out they didn't know too much about many things. Needless to say I didn't date them too long.

If I were to date a girl,then I would prefer to date a beautiful girl rather than an intelligent one.

I love smart girls! It's really nice to be able to have intelligent conversation with someone you're attracted to, so you are actually thinking about the issue and not wasting your brain on worrying whether you're saying the right thing or not.
Then again, I'm a weird guy.
Also, when I date a smart girl I know in my heart she can take care of herself; dating a dumb one makes me worry about her every second I'm away, and that can't be healthy :/

Yes, intelligent for sure I like. There are so many advantages of it. Misundersandings happen very rarely (this is the case with dim), she is challenging, brings the interest high, rises the tension, is unpredictable, she "reads" you easier, everything is better.

i like intelligence. The only problem is most intelligent girls talk to me like i'm dumb. THAT is the true turn off.
