Well you got your dose of rhetorical rant ... the politically correct answer is to say rude things to you about your question/statement ... mostly from the ignorant or the fanatic believers.
A thought to ponder ... if you use the FBIs definition of a cult ... the one they use to define groups that are a danger to themselves, their children, and others ... Islam would be classified as a cult. It is a system of enforced ignorance and absolute control of its members, subjagation of women, and murderous to anyone that disagrees with their 'faith'. These politically correct ranters below just don't understand. I suppose, if according to Islamic law, one of their daughters brains was bashed out with a bolder in front of their eyes they my see things differently. It is a cult of hate ... take a look around the world. There are several countries around the world that are Islamic theocracies ... hate and death are the activities of the day. Civil liberties don't come into the picture anywhere and women are little more than sex slaves.
Political correctness will ensure that the cult will grow to the point that they will drag most of the world into a nuclear conflagration.
Theocracy, or cult of personality as in Adlof Hitler, in any form is disastrous ... but if history is any indication it will take a global war, probably nuclear, before there is any resolution ... reality bites sometimes.

No....I have thought about this a lot....I think human being has a grey shade...some good and white parts and some black and dark sides....so...the reseason we make a religion is to make our society safe and secure and make it the way we want...Of course if we want to be successful we have to make other people think the way we want and force them to do the way we want.....The best way to do this is to make a religion...because if we do it as "I' and "We" it might not work as "God"...so we stupefy people by saying this is Gods' order and whoever thinks the other way and opposed that should go to hell....the we can Holify our atrocity...we can kill, torture and steal and have sex with one hundred women and it is all God says...we can murder innocent people because they are those ones who are our slaves and do not think the way we think and the way we want...and that is all about Mohamadism

The Quran doesn't say much about who Mohamed was and what he was like. These events were recorded in the islamic hadiths, ie Bukhari, Tabari, Ishaq, Dawud and Muslim. In these hadiths narrations, Muhammad was depicted as a
a) Mass Murderer
b) Assassin
c) Caravan Raider
d) Pedophile
Whether or not these characteristics are true is another question, but since the islamic scriptures approves such behavior, what do you think islam as a religion will be?
