The last Pope stated he was just as good if not better then God. He also stated that all his priests were just as good if not better than Jesus. I seen a document he signed stating just that. Saying if a person went in to a confessional with a priest, and one went in to a confessional with Jesus, the one with the priest would come out feeling much better then the one with Jesus. Is This Really Possible?
I know, with all my questions, it really looks like I am attacking just the Catholics, not just them this time.
Who on Earth is Better then God?
For instance, you have a two year old, are you going to do every thing that two year old tells you? What to eat? What to wear? When to go to bed? When to wake up?
Say you have two kids. One is always saying "I love you, what can I do for you today?" and the other one is saying, "I am better then you, you will do what I say, like it or not!"
What would you do?

You know Satan was the most High, he was the leader of the Angles. Gaberal is now the leader of the Angles.
Some may say Michael is the leader of the Angles. I don´t think so, Michael created the Angles. Satan was the most loved and was the leader, but he said, in so many words "I am better then you, we are doing this my way."
What happened to him?
Who on earth thinks they can do all they want and still go to heaven?
It amazes me every time I ask a question like this face to face with some one. Because I hear, "we are under grace" meaning, we can murder, rape, steal, or destroy any thing or any one and still go to heaven. Is this really Possible?

How can so many people believe so blindly? Its not possible to not see what happens, but to continue believing with out question?
As I said before, its not just to the Catholics this time, its to every one. All Chruches. I have been to More than I can really count. Catholics included, and I do get tired of hearing "we are under grace." I wonder who else beleives you can do any thing you want and still go to heaven?

I was reading some of the answers. some one was asking for a link to this document. I do not know of any link. In fact, I did not know of computers when I came across this document, or rather a copy of this document. It was in the late 1980´s. I was going to many different churches, studing and questioning different things, and I could not believe my eyes when I came across that peace. That last Pope, John Paul, said in that document, that when the church makes a rule, God has to obey the rule.
I just could not swollow that. I am sorry not to provide a link. I never knew of one to begin with.

Anyone who claims that they are as good as God should be understood to be a rascal. He may think he is as good or better than God, but then, why did he die? How is it that he became old and feeble, if he is God?
Oh, yes, I believe that confessing to a priest would make you feel better than confessing to Jesus, if you were looking for a cheap way to get to heaven. These rascals are selling heaven very cheap. Just say these words, pay this money, and you are absolved. Jesus will suffer for you.
Jesus Christ would give you intruction. In the bible, Jesus says "I would that ye all become like me". That is His instruction. Jesus would instruct the confessor to "go and sin no more". That is an instruction. The priest will forgive, but what is the value of his forgiveness? The priest can make you feel better, but feeling better is not the coin with which you can purchase heaven. Jesus said, "If you love me, you will obey me". The priest says, "You can do anything you like".

Sorry, Daffy, but no such document has ever been put forward by any Pope within the last century, and I can say that with great certainty. So you either misunderstood what you were reading, or the document you saw was a falsified document. It is not uncommon for such documents to surface, since there are many in this world that are anti-Catholic.

Yes it is possible you have seen such a document. Any references? Do you have a copy? Who wrote it? Any spelling errors?
Facts and not paranoia is what we need to have a good discussion.
If god, or gods (as I repeat to keep the Hindu brothers happy) does not exist, everybody is better than he is. Correct? So, al you have to do is prove that god(s) exist. Then we can go on with this discussion.
If I would have a kid who goes on saying he is better than me. I would bring him to a church and show him a very bloody statue of the crucifation and tell him: this is what happens to people who think they are better than others.

What does the concept of God mean. It means supremely intelligent, supremely powerful, being omnipotent and being omnipresent. If any one claims he is omnipresent, then he should give proof that he knows what is going on everywhere in this vast universe. Can he claim so? Can he answer the silent prayers of million people. Can he explain all the secrets of the universe. Can he create a single crystal of sugar even after being given Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen? The answers are obvious. In our Hindu religion there have been people who claimed to be God and asked people to worship him instead of God. We regard all such claimants of our religion as insane people. Thats all I can say.

If someone like the pope said that, I'd be watchin' to see is he one of the anti-christs.
I struggled with the idea of can I do whatever I want knowing it is wrong and still expect to be forgiven? The answer is yes I can. But that doesn't mean it will work that way. what goes around comes around...and stuff like that.

I am thinking now, who on earth would do all those things that OT god did? Killing babies, incest, fire pillars of salt? UMMMM nobody
Who will cast thier children into a lake of fire? UMMM nobody..
Looks to me like almost everyone on Earth is better than God....
