It seems that many atheists are very angry. Is it because they have been hurt by someone who claimed to be religious? How many people are atheists despite the fact that they are loved absolutely and unconditionally by someone of faith?

I'm sorry, this was not meant to be a comment, it is a question, that is why it is written in the form of a question and has a question mark after it.

not angry, extreem disappointment in religious people. i'm not an atheist but i am an agnostic. i have faith in spirituality. the problem with faith and religion is that you have to have faith that the religious person is being true and honest, without their own agenda. people tend to twist the word of God to their own advantage and to their idea of the truth. the devil can quote the bible as easy as anyone else.

actually, there is not any such factor as a 'uninteresting' individual! Society as an entire, has introduced specific norms, to develop into jointly suited! that is not any longer something yet a sort of mutual earnings scheme! seem at rocks that have stood on the comparable place for hundreds of years. human beings spend fortunes to take a seem at a number of them. those a number of them 'seem' unique to human minds, basically because of the fact they're 'grossly' uncommon. different clever, no 2 leaves are alike on the planet. No 2 human beings are alike on the planet. So how can unique beings be 'uninteresting'? human beings are extra 'lively' than the main beautiful rock-formation! that's a controversy of view factor. extra advantageous to basically right the techniques that has a tendency to lose interest at user-friendly excuses! And, thank you for that particularly "non-uninteresting" question!

I'm an atheist through common sense more than anything.
No, I wasn't abused by a religious person. To be honest, anyone who claims atheism solely because they've been abused by a religious person isn't an atheist. You're only an atheist if you don't believe in gods, it's as simple as that.

Very few
if we're angry it's because of comments like this
I've never been hurt by a religious person and all the religious people i know personally are jolly nice people
atheists lack a belief in any and all gods - anger has nothing to do with it. Your god does not exist, you have no proof it does end of.

It is very difficult to answer but the atheists are religious too. Only they are against unfacts of religion stated. They more to facts of life. You must understand religion and religious are two different things. There are chances atheists become religious and the religious become atheist. In this situation how to trace how many people are atheist? Its too difficult for me..

I'm not an atheist, but I did leave faith for 20 years because the Roman Catholic religion. Mostly for mental, and physical abuse. I have accepted Christ, and worship in a non-denominational Church.

Not me. Whilst mine wasn't precisely an ideal childhood, I was never abused by a religious person. I was just always skeptical. I only pretended to believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny to humor my parents.

I'm only angered by ignorance, bullying and hypocrisy. I know of not one single atheist who is an atheist because they were abused by someone religious. There just isn't any evidence for a god, and that's it.
Are people who don't believe in goblins only non-believers in goblins because they were abused by someone who did?

Probably not many. A lot of religious people are pretty wacky too when their beliefs are threatened. But you are right, there is a huge amount of anger and hostility here.

Yea, but that wasn't the only reason. I was never loved unconditionally by another xtian. But mostly it had to do with xtianity not being logical.
