Ok, so I admit. I was totally against the blocker button until a received an email from a fellow Christian calling me all kinds of bad names and hating on me for having Atheist in my contact list.

Since when did having Atheist, Hindu, Agnostic contacts discredit my Christian faith.

Apparently, sad to say, in most Churches now-a-days, Jesus wouldn't even be allowed in.

Sis, that boy is no Christian,...I'm guessing it's the same *ss-wipe that asked about who to add to his "Blocked" list. I received 7 e-mails from that chicken *ss,and when I went to respond to him,I found he holds a secured account. So, he gets to display his maniacal rants, then run and hide behind his mommy's skirt tail.
He's the "coward" you set him out to be,last nite!

Quella Bella,
You are so perceptive. As long as you are secure in your faith, and you walk the walk, your living examples are your fruits which others will see.

Please be comforted in knowing that the "Pharisee spirit" rejected the Messiah as per prophecies Isaiah 53, Ezekiel 21:10. The Saul spirit frowned when David was dancing before the Lord with all of his might. The same spirit chased Jeshua's disciples out of the synagogues and substituted "religion" in place of the spirit of truth.

Be encouraged!

Brother Boaz.

That's sad that even here on Yahoo so many people want to divide each other up based on beliefs or ideas. I want people of all types on my contact list, so I can get a variety of viewpoints for my questions. Someone must not be that confident if they can't expose themselves to others with different views. Sadly, some people have a lot of anger and want to look at what makes people different rather than what we have in common.

One person in particular, and the mail is venomous, I only discovered within the last week that this person is a female..
That's what the new avatar suggests anyway...

Some Chrisitians have very strict 'membership' rules, not unlike some clubs, the Moose, the xxx, the gay wife-beaters international, Mickey Mouse Club, Boy Scouts of America, etc.

..and it is true, Jesus would still be rejected in today's world much as he was in his own.

What's wrong with you!!!?? How could you possibly do that!!?? j/k

I am a christian as well, but Jesus taught that we should love all of humankind. We don't have to agree with them, and they don't have to agree with us. I have gay friends, atheist friends, Jewish friends, etc. and this is in life, not just contacts on the computer. I love my friends. I don't necessarily approve of their perspectives, but we have agreed to disagree and not speak of it. They know how I feel and I know how they feel. If they want to know more I will gladly share it with them, but the word of God should never be forced on anyone. That will only cause resentment.

I think that maybe some people should be blocked because they report everything, so if they are blocked by everyone, then they cannot see the question.

Well you are better off without that person. I think that it is great that for Christians to have ppl of other faiths as contacts. We are supposed to be HIS hands and feet!!

Excellent point. There really IS a legitimate reason why Christians tend to be ostracized in this forum; and they continue to legitimize it, day after day after day. The decent ones are always overshadowed.
