Obviously when I say hate, I don't literally mean it. I mean stongly dislike. If you knew anything about today's culture you'd know that. You don't know anything about my situation, so stop making judgements about things you don't know about. I asked YOU a question, not for you to make assumptions based on my character or that of my family. So please just stick to the frickin' question.

I grew up in a dysfunctional, abusive home, so I'm apathetic towards them. I don't hate anyone, so. With the exception of my brothers and my little cousins, I'd rather not have anything to do with my relatives. It could be money and such, but it just leads to a certain point where it gets disgusting.

Well I certainly do not hate my family and try not to actually hate anyone, as it is a pretty strong emotion. Personally I would have to say that I love my family 100% of the time., Although I may get angry with them and/or feel hurt by some of their actions, they are my family. And when push comes to shove we are always there for one and other.

i love my family. hate is a really strong word. I'm being truthful when i say that my family bugs me a lot, but i still love them. Just think about how you would feel if they all died... don't just think, "oh i'd be so relieved because they're so annoying." really think about it.
would you feel bad in the least?
act around them like you want to be remembered as... the sweet, loving family member... not the one who hated everyone and broke everyones' hearts because everyone wanted to love you but couldn't.

I don't "hate" them but I can't stand to be around some of them for too long, a little of them can go a long way.

I love my family very much and feel very lucky to have them.
Maybe you should ask yourself what is it about you that would make you hate your family.
Just a thought.
