Is that possible? If so, how?

It's not that I think it is impossible. I've just never considered spirituality as a possibility for my beliefs. I'm solidly agnostic, but I'd like to learn as much about spirituality as I can. I want to see if it further reflects my beliefs. I'm sorry if the wording of my question implied I was being argumentative. I'm genuinely curious.

Always Right: I'd hate to be the one to break it to you, but you're wrong.

The definition of agnostic is that god is unknowable and unprovable. I wouldn't subscribe to this philosophy if I didn't know what it meant.

How can someone be both blond and left handed?

Please explain first why you would think it's not possible.

I suppose it all depends on spirituality. My definition of spirituality is more toward being introspective, aware of the moment, and being thoughtful. To that extent, I think you can.

Consider that Buddhism and Taoism vary from being agnostic to atheistic, and they are real wells of spiritual wisdom.

Agnosticism ability "against expertise" and interior the right which ability, it would not in simple terms mean no longer understanding if there is or isn't a god, yet that each thing is unprovable and unknowable in an entire experience i.e. an agnostic could say, confident.. I dropped an apple and it hit the floor, yet i will't be a hundred% particular that the comparable element will happen day after today (I in simple terms ask your self why we at the instant are not all agnostics? It in simple terms seems logical). for this reason Agnosticism isn't being not sure, it may be an exceptionally stable and defined remark on the way we interpret the our fact. additionally, via fact Agnostics know that each theory you have could be a perception (whether that's in accordance with information of previous activities or no longer). so which you're able to be an Agnostic Theist (you have self assurance there's a God, yet understand that that's a perception), or an Agnostic Athiest. certainly, you're able to be an Agnostic something, all you're pointing out is which you have a perception. So, there is not any challenge in any respect asserting you're a non secular Agnostic. From this I presume you mean you have non secular thoughts, which you do no longer desire to unavoidably interpret as being linked with 'God', and you agree for that each physique your techniques are in simple terms ideals (via fact the techniques are there in our heads, made via our more suitable brains that interprets fact in a subjective way). save with this, that's smart to me. There are formal religions that maximum individuals have not got a clue approximately, as an occasion, every person understand concerning the Digambar sect of Jainism? (hyperlink under).

I, too, am agnostic and have been for many years for the reason that I am essentially a skeptic, doubter, and questioner with an inability to believe, to have faith in a deity or a theological system, although I attended during my childhood and adolescent a liberal Protestant church. I expended much time as an adult exploring alternative spiritual disciplines such as Qabala (Jewish mysticism) and many subjects which are considered esoteric: Tarot, Magick, Astrology, and Alchemy, but without having come to any definite conclusions as to their validity. However, I wrote and self-published a novel of Atlantis which is based upon my arcane explorations, and I even introduced a character who is the Creator but also a Magus -- a deity but not a religious figure requiring worship. So, I contend it is possible at least to study and assimilate spiritual themes, yet remain an agnostic because my understanding of agnosticism is that it is a questioning attitude regarding the existence of God, Intelligent Design, and religion.

Well, one could be unsure if there is a Deity or a personified deity, but still believe that there is a spiritual side of life, and a spiritual side to people.

I am agnostic, I am not sure about a personal God, but I do lean toward a belief that there is an inherent intelligence that permeates the entire Universe (I believe this belief is call Pantheism. ) I also believe that there is a spiritual side to human beings, but not in the form of some ghostly image of themselves, or in the form of soul that can be damned to hell or sent to heaven for belonging to the "correct" religion or having the "correct" relationship with God.

I consider all the non-material aspects of a person, to be their spiritual side, their character, personality, hopes, dreams, fears, etc. I think this part of person is more important than how they look, how much money they make, or what kind of car they drive.

I'd think so because an agnostic seems to be the most open minded of the beliefs. They should be willing to learn about it anyway.

I believe there has to be something more after this life, and not necessarily the gods that humans have written and raved about. That's as close as I can get to being agnostic.

I don't know if I'd call it spirituality, but I gain a sense of calm from going outdoors and enjoying nature. I like to breathe deeply and reflect upon my life and the world.

To be spiritual, one has to feel selfless.A feeling of a very wide perspective of this universe and our insignificant existance, where human ego has no place and where the power of Almighty is all.Once you achieve this position, you will start seeing the world and other fellow humans in different way.Your actions and results of your actions will be miraculous. You will be free of all load and worries. You will be happy and other will also be happy. It will be a unique atmosphere of happiness all aroung you.Just try it.

As an agnostic,...
I sometimes feel that we are actually MORE intact with our spirituality than theists or atheists...

The open-mindedness of agnosticism allows one to explore any and all possibilities of the human spiritual condition,
- the want and need to find a comfortable way to allay our biggest fear:
... The fear of whether anything, or nothing, lies in wait for us when we pass on...

In this, theists and atheists have more in common than they think...
...[GASP!!! NO!!! Say it isn't so!!!]...;-)

One definition is:
"of, relating to, consisting of, or affecting the spirit"

"Spirit", normally referring to the soul, to me can also refer to emotional and mental well-being

I don't think "spirituality" needs to include the supernatural. It can be about self-exploration, a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world, etc. I am an atheist, and I consider myself to be spiritual.
