umm yea im 13 and i need to know how to use a tampon and yes i know it seems like a stupid question but please tell me how i have read the directions over and over and over again and i just really dont understand it cause i put one in the other day and when i walked or sat down i could feel it and i know your not supposed to soo any great girls out there wanna give me some advice??? please anyone who does is a great help and i love you guys ....thankx <33 :]

Well I know that this is really uncomfortable for you to be asking this, and I just wanna say that it is okay! Well of course you open the wrapper. Well when I take it out it kinda hurts so I use a LITTLE BIT of Vasoline around the sides of it. then take the injector and place it in the "part" once you have done that hold your middle finger and your thumb at the part where the part that goes into the body hold it right there. Then once your fingers have touched your body let go and then push it in. it might be uncomfortable and you might feel it or you mihgt not but don't worry a lot of girls go thru with this.

Thats not a stupid question at all. First of all you probably didn't put it in all the way. Push it until it wont go anymore, and if you still have trouble try using a mirror. Here are a few links that might help:

Wrong category.
But read the directions that come in the box. They have pictures and step by step instructions. And if you could feel it, it wasn't in far enough. It won't get lost.

Anyway. If you don't know how to use one, use one with applicator. It puts it at the exact position. Then you can try without applicator to see which one you prefer ( I prefer without because they are shorter).
