No. You're still eating them.
Thus, you wouldn't be.
You'd be like, the poser version. xD
That is a good question though. Loop-holes!

Is it all about the name? Why would you care if other people call you vegan or not? Isn't it about what you think is right or just so you could call yourself that and people would, I don't know, respect you or you could fit in somewhere....?
See, I don't eat meat. I call myself vegetarian. But my grandparents are just CRAZY about meat, and not even knowing I don't eat it, keep telling me how important it is to. So when I visit them (which is once a year - they live in another country) I HAVE to eat a few bites, otherwise if they found out, they would kill me... Because of that, I was told by some people that I'm not vegetarian, just due to those few bites a year. And I thought I was saving lives everytime I refused a corpse... Oh well, I don't care what other people think. And I don't think you should.
Keep on doing whatever you think is right and whatever you can, whether it gives you a good name or not.

No, part of being vegan is to eat what we were physiologically designed to eat. Humans were not designed to eat meat, no matter how it died (diseased meat? no wonder you have cognitive issues that cause you to ask these questions). Those with higher intelligence know/knew of this fact, such as: Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, Thomas Edison, Ben Franklin, Leonardo Da Vinci, Plato, John Robbins (founder of EarthSave International), Neal Barnard, M.D. etc.
Let's see, some "humans as carnivore" myths busted:
- Our tiny "canine" teeth are not indicators of a carnivore. e.g., gorillas & pandas are veg & have larger canines than humans.
- Our digestive systems differ from some herbivores. Obviously, because we're not designed to eat grass, bark, etc. either. Our complex digestive systems are definitely not design to digest animals,
- Eyes on the front of the head does not indicate a hunter. They are the result of arboreal life, for depth perception to live in trees as our ancestors did.

You aren't vegan, but you could still consider yourself an animal activist (at least in my mind). You aren't supporting the factory farm machine, so you are still doing something good.
To be considered vegan, you have to do what vegans do. You would have to abstain from consuming all animal and animal products. Simple concept.

Nope. You can't be considered vegan or vegetarian if you consume meat. Veganism is also a lot about a frame of mind and system of beliefs-- basically, if you have to ask, the answer is no.

i have no idea as to how you can dictate whether or not the meat you're eating came from an animal that died from such causes.. unless you live on a damn farm and take good extreme care of all the animals and therefore are not liable to their deaths.
no, you can't.

No, you still eat meat. You also would be violating the dietary laws of both Judaism and Islam.

No and you're probably going to get some disease if you're eating animals that died of a disease.
